Morelia, Mx Update

We have been in our new home in Morelia, Mx for 3 weeks now. The house is a 2 story home with 2 bedrooms and an office. It has been a challenge and a lot of hard work finding the furniture and appliances that we needed, but we are just about finished getting everything in place.

We wish to thank the Arkansas District WM's for the generous gift to help with the purchase of all these items. What a blessing!

We have met the District Superintendent, Rodrigo Arrieta and his family. Last week the District Prysbetry had a reception for us. We discussed the needs of the district. One urgent need is a District Office. They are meeting in a Sunday School room in a church in Morelia. They are ready to purchase the property but need help with the construction. Another need is to build a Bible School. They already have property and plans but could use help from MAPS teams with the construction. The Bible School currently has 37 students who are meeting in 3 locations around the district. We will have photos of the projects in the coming updates.

Anyone wishing to come as prayer, evengalism or construction teams please contact us to work out a time on our calender. (US ph # 314-256-9453)

Morelia is a beautiful city of 1 million habitants. We know that we are where we have been called to minister. We continue to ask for your prayers as we reach the "Dark Heart of Mexico."

Great report! Thanks for the great news letter. I will see what we can do to help the church that needs to finish paying for their property. How would we send the money? AGWM? Other?

You are in our hearts and prayers,

Tommy Carpenter
