Bajío District Convention

The 6 Bi-annual Assemblies of God Bajío District Convention was held in May in León, Guanajuato, Mexico. We were priviged to attend and share what the Lord has allowed us to do during the last year. There was a spirit of unity desiring to do all they can to reach more of their people for Christ.







They reported that there were 83 preaching points, 4838 members, 2249 assisted Sunday school, 3954 attended the main service with 2303 baptized in water and 1025 baptized in the Holy Spirit. The population by state in 2000 was:

The district is proud of the growth over the last 2 years but you can see by the numbers that there is a lot of work to do yet. We ask for your prayers as we work with the leadership, pastors and members to reach this world for our Savior.

In May Carolyn and I went to Mexico City to complete the paper work for our Resident Permits(FM3). We will be able to pick these up in June. It has been a long process but at last we will have them.
